Great post – and your writing style makes it feel like we´re actually in a conversation about this topic! One twist – I like taking my leftovers (after heating them up in our office microwave) to the local park or rooftop patio at my office to be away from the computer and savor the wonderfulness of the meal. This usually makes me even more productive when I return to my work after lunch.

I remembered this post when I came across these instructions for homemade lunch box ice packs. This is one of the few truly simple DIY projects I’ve come across, and a great way to give any lunch a more personal touch (while keeping it cool).
